Craig L. Manchik

Craig L. Manchik was born in Chicago and grew up in Highland Park, Illinois. He attended the University of Kansas, where he graduated with Honors with a degree in Business Administration. Craig was a member of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity and was awarded the coveted Sobal Cup for excellence in academics.

Craig attended Michigan State University College of Law where he graduated Cum Laude. He was a member of the Student Senate, and was elected Vice President of the Senate during his third year of law school. He had previously held elected positions including Treasurer and Secretary of the Senate.

Amicus, the alumni magazine for Michigan State University College of Law, recently featured Craig in an article titled “The Lawyers Who Win”. The article highlights Craig’s success as a trial attorney and his commitment to his clients. Craig has been in private practice since 1994 and has tried many Jury Trials to verdict. Four notable cases were as follows:

$3.75 Million dollar settlement, after one week on trial, in medical malpractice case;
$2.7 Million dollar verdict in medical malpractice case involving failure to deliver a baby timely; and
$1.7 Million dollar settlement in construction negligence case
$1.2 Million dollar verdict after five weeks in front of a jury on trial in willful and wanton case versus the Village of Skokie and two of its police officers.

Craig has extensive trial experience in mediation and arbitration involving cases for medical malpractice, nursing home injuries, motor vehicle accidents construction negligence in workplaces and wrongful death matters. He is also a licensed mediator in counties including Cook, Lake, DuPage and Will. Craig currently resides in Lake Forest, Illinois with his wife, Allyson, and their three sons, Grayson Samuel, Jackson and Maxwell Joseph. In his free time he enjoys coaching his son’s hockey team, playing hockey and golf.

Lynne Plum Duffey

Lynne Plum Duffey comes from the north side of Chicago and attended Mundelein College, then obtained her law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1989. She has been practicing law since 1989 and represented injured people not only in automobile and premises liability cases but also against negligent doctors, hospitals, clinics and nursing homes as well as manufacturers of consumer, industrial and medical products.

Lynne has successfully pursued claims involving complex medical issues such as children brain-injured at birth, delays in diagnosis of cancer, cardiac care, emergency medicine, organ transplants, drug toxicity, spinal cord injuries, and proper hospital and nursing home care of the elderly.

Results include a $3,500,000 settlement for brain injury to a child born at 25 weeks gestation, a $2,350,000 settlement for a woman whose diagnosis of cervical cancer was delayed, and a $2,000,000 jury verdict in a case of delayed treatment of uterine sarcoma. She has extensive experience in arbitration, mediation and jury trial of all types of injury cases and has been selected as an Illinois SuperLawyer for the years 2010 and 2011.
